All families, just like yours and mine, encounter issues and problems in life — and we know the heartfelt truth — When someone in the family has a problem, the whole family has a problem! Thankfully, most issues today can be resolved quickly and without the tremendous expense of lawyers — and things can get done faster and easier now.

This I know, just from all of my experiences of being a Judge over the years, and also from my 30 years as a practicing lawyer before transitioning into a Mediator, Author, Consultant, Life Coach, and Founder of Contini Solutions.

John's Values

To personify the following:

*John's father, Don E. Contini, often quoted these words...

“To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children, to leave the world
a better place, to know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived, this is to have succeeded”
- Ralph Waldo Emerson
1983 1983
1987 1987

John Contini graduates from the New England School of Law, in Boston, MA, obtaining his Juris Doctor.

He becomes prosecutor at the Broward County State Attorney’s Office, prosecuting thousands of defendants accused of misdemeanors and major felonies in South Florida.

John becomes trial attorney at John P. Contini & Associates, PA in Fort Lauderdale, FL.

At his law office, he provided legal representation (throughout Florida and the US), helping those who were arrested, afflicted, hurting or in need of help in the following areas of the law:
• Federal Criminal Defense
• Wrongful Death
• Personal Injury
• Construction Accidents
• Sealing/Expungement
• White Collar Crimes Defense
• Workplace/Car Accidents
• DUI Defense
• Drug Crimes

He publishes “Danger Road: A True Crime Story of Murder and Redemption”, which recounts Contini’s defense of Gil Fernandez, Jr., a former Miami-Dade cop and “Mr. Florida” bodybuilding champion, kickboxer and black belt karate instructor. The former cop was charged with an execution-style triple murder in 1990 and was also alleged to have been a soldier for the mob in South Florida. As many as eight other members of his own crew of alleged extortionists and bodybuilders were murdered two at a time – with no forensic clues, fueling law enforcement’s theory that the murders “had the signature of a policeman,” and that Fernandez, an ex-cop, was “systematically eliminating witnesses against him.” A year before his indictment and arrest, Fernandez had become a professed born-again Christian, a redemption that soon figures prominently in Contini’s life.

He publishes “Feeling the Heat: An Interrogation of the Soul”, an inspirational true story that begins with betrayal and deception, moves to addiction and recovery, and closes with faith, redemption, reuniting with family and love – another true crime and crossover faith story of second chances from the God of second chances! A federally-indicted client and former friend chose to ‘wear a wire’ for a couple of rogue federal agents while targeting Contini for indictment, to minimize his own prison exposure. “This painful time in my life was actually used of God to bring me closer to Him – a prodigal son experience that will not be forgotten. What they meant for bad, God meant for good.”

John becomes Circuit Court Judge for the Seventeenth Judicial Circuit in Broward County, Florida.

As a Judge, among other things, he presided over thousands of felony criminal cases in 2015, over 10,000 divorce, paternity and adoption cases in 2016 and 2017, and assisted in organizing and thereafter attending the speaking engagements and debates at dozens of judicial forums and a myriad of other venues.

In 2018, John Contini starts with his mediation and consulting services, as a retired Circuit Court Judge, having realized that his vocation as a mediator and a peacemaker, is a much better fit for him, as this is his REAL or true calling.

He is now able to dedicate his full time and efforts to this mission. You will find that John is accessible most evenings and weekends, committed to helping you, your family and friends to quickly and successfully resolve any disputes, and to move on and enjoy life.

Solving Problems By Making Connections.

Save your Money
AND your Health

It was my Mom’s example of compassion throughout my life, that drives my own passion to help those who are hurting and in need of help. Most people cannot afford lawyers or expensive litigation — which fuels my passion AND compassion to help them nonetheless — and it NOW dictates HOW and WHY I help them as a Mediator and a Consultant.

The Real Direction Is Connection

How often can you get a former Judge’s perspective for FREE, and get true insider information. John is not going to charge you if you need his help in connecting you with the right lawyer; and he’s even offering to be your mediator.

But if you do need a lawyer, before you make a mistake and choose the wrong lawyer, he’ll connect you with the right lawyer at no expense to you!

Keep your family savings for a family vacation or the kids’ education.

Avoid the tremendous expense and stress of litigation.

Save years of fighting it out in court and avoid aging in the process.

Avoid giving away all your well-earned family savings to lawyers.

I believe in one thing–that only a life lived for others is a life worth living.

I am convinced of the truthfulness of these principles:

What do we live for, if not to make life less difficult for each other – George Eliot

I will not charge you money or any referral fee when connecting you to kinder lawyers who will help you for less money— assuming you even need one.

I won’t participate or share in those lawyers’ reduced fees, if I do connect you with the lawyer. The skeptics and the jaded pessimists will cynically ask, “Then what’s in it for you?” That’s an easy one — the good feeling of being involved in a ministry or mission field of sorts, knowing I helped you or your loved ones who are hurting, ie, Christ Himself makes clear that “it’s more blessed to give, than to receive.” Solomon, 1000 years B.C., said it similarly: “A generous man will himself be blessed.” — Proverbs 22:9 … and it’s true:

I’m the one being blessed — even more than you, if I can help you get needed, affordable help by a kinder lawyer. Sometimes the lawyers refer mediation cases to me, and yes, that’s also a blessing to me, ie, although they are not expected to do this. There is no quid pro quo — it’s only that mutual respect we share. It’s also an absolute truth, what Einstein and George Eliot (Mary Ashton) are saying here: — John Contini, mediator, retired Circuit Court Judge

LIFE COACHING

Over my career as a former trial lawyer and Circuit Court Judge, I witnessed way too much pain. It drove me to find a better way to serve people — whether by MEDIATION or LIFE COACHING, ie, more selfless ways that truly benefit the families in need.

Life Coaching helps us all in more affordable ways that prevent many of the problems from persisting or reoccurring in the future. I help hurting families and individuals by life coaching involving life issues unrelated to litigation/legal.
